- Learn More About DEMA’s Customer Analysis Program and How it Can Help Your Business at DEMA Show 2010 –
San Diego, CA - (October 4, 2010) – Knowing about your customers and how to reach them more effectively is the goal of a new session to be conducted by DEMA Executive Director Tom Ingram at DEMA Show 2010. The seminar is designed to help destinations, hotels, dive shops, live aboards and other travel companies learn more about how their current customers live and the products and services they buy, as well as how to attract new customers while spending less. This special session, hosted at DEMA Show 2010 is scheduled for Saturday November 20 from 12:30 to 1:30pm in room S229.
During the seminar, Ingram will introduce DEMA’s Customer Analysis Program and demonstrate how a destination, hotel or other activity provider can use their own customer database to help identify the different demographic marketing groups they currently serve, including independently verified information on how much money they make (and how it differs from the rest of the US) and what “lifestyles” they follow. Additionally, he will explain how these factors impact the advertising message and medium; to what television, radio, print publications and internet sites these potential customers are attracted and the market groups with the greatest potential to be the business’ future customers.
“DEMA’s Customer Analysis program reveals the behaviors and characteristics of your clients and how to reach them, including using media messages that are most likely to trigger a sales or inquiry response and how to optimize your advertising expenditures through more effective media placement,” said Ingram. “We will also focus on customer acquisition and target marketing, identifying the marketing groups within which you are most likely to find prospects most like your current customers,” he concluded.
